A Seashore-Inspired Connecticut Wedding

This is Sara and Chris standing against the beautiful marina at the Old Saybrook Inn where their wedding reception took place.  They were married at St. John's Church in Old Saybrook.  The ecstatic couple took a moment to take a few pictures in front of the unbelievable sunset on the water.

Pictured above is the absolutely magnificent church (St. John's in Old Saybrook) where Chris and Sara exchanged vows.  The happy couple welcomed many guests to share this moment with.  A beautiful church, and an even more beautiful ceremony!

Sara added a whimsical touch to her gorgeous wedding gown with a paper umbrella to shade her from the sun.  Each of her bridesmaids had different colored umbrellas to hold alongside Sarah while outside.  So elegant!

Here's a photo of Sara's phenomenal dress hanging up as she prepared for her special day.  The champagne and creamy color was simply divine!  The cascading pleats and ruching added interest to a classic and timeless shaped dress.

The groom and groomsmen added to the energetic yet laid-back group that celebrated Chris and Sara's wedding.  This photo depicts their excitement on such a beautiful day!

Groom Chris set up a stunning wooden treasure chest filled with chocolate gold coins for his new bride.  This tied into seashore-themed wedding.  To make this surprise more significant, he added a hand written letter and bracelet to Sara.  It was a touching and meaningful expression of his love.
